Catanzara is optimistic about Chicago’s start on fixing it’s crime problem- in part, because of the replacement of CPD Supt David Brown with Larry Snelling. That alone could have a significant impact on improving CPD morale, which is necessary to restore pro-active, constitutional community policing.

Then there is the opportunity to replace Cook County’s Rogue Prosecutor with a real State’s Attorney prosecutor in 2024, depending on the results of the primaries and general election.   

Catanzara is even optimistic about replacing Cook County Chief Judge Tim Evans who has wreaked havoc by preventing hundreds of judges from (1) detaining pre-trial thousands of dangerous, career violent criminals and (2) sentencing those convicted to prison terms commensurate with the harm caused by their violent criminal acts.
